Crash

An Allentown motorist was hurt when her vehicle got stuck on a concrete barrier along Interstate 78 in Salisbury Township in a one-car crash Aug. 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was driving her vehicle along I-78 West near mile marker 55.5 around 6 a.m. when she merged to the middle lane. The motorist tried to stop suddenly for traffic ahead and the vehicle swerved across two lanes of traffic and struck the center barrier where the rear of the vehicle became stuck on the top of the structure, facing northeast. The driver was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Cetronia EMS and Yocum Towing also responded.
