Whitehall Township Public Library: Zoellner Arts to hold Mo Willems Pigeon storytime at library

Join Zoellner Arts for a Mo Willems Pigeon storytime 11 a.m. Sept. 9 with stories, crafts and more. This is for toddlers to first-graders.

Reminder: Registration for fall storytimes at Whitehall Township Public Library began Sept. 2.

Starting in October, preschool storytime is 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays and toddler storytime is 11 a.m. Thursdays.

Creation Station: What’s in Our Mud? is set for 6 p.m. Sept. 17. Kids in grades 3-6 can enjoy STEAM projects once a month.

Registration is required.

The library is currently accepting book and media donations for the fall book sale, set for Sept. 26 and 27.

The fall basket raffle will be Oct. 24-Nov. 1. The library is currently accepting donations of gift cards, baskets and new items to fill baskets.

The library has a number of clubs that meet monthly.

The book club for adults meets 1 p.m. the first Thursday of every month. Come and discuss what you’re currently reading.

The coloring club for adults meets 11 a.m. the first and third Thursdays and 5:30-7:30 p.m. the first Tuesday.

The Good Yarn group meets for knitting, crocheting and other needle crafts 6 p.m. the third Tuesday of the month.

The Death Cafe, a group-directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes, meets 6:30 p.m. the third Monday.

The library is working with Plant a Row Lehigh Valley again this year to bring fresh produce to local families in need. You can drop off produce at the library from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays.

Your donations benefit the Whitehall Food Pantry at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.

The library’s regular hours are 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
