On the Lehigh Township website, you will find information on a new program — Adopt a Tree — for the township’s 2025 Christmas tree lighting. Your decorated tree, for a cost, will be on display during the tree-lighting ceremony, set for Dec. 6 at Berlinsville Park.

“All trees will be on stands and have a temporary tag with a tree number and name. The permanent card will be placed on the tree Dec. 3.

“The trees will be available for decorating Nov. 14 and must be completed by Dec. 3, so lights can be tested prior to the annual tree lighting.

“The cost to adopt a 5- to 6-foot tree will be $55.

“The trees can start to be undecorated after Jan. 10, 2026. The township will take care of disposing the tree beginning Jan. 26, 2026. Any lights or ornaments left on the tree will be disposed of as well.

“Since this is a new program, the program will be limited to 30 trees, on a first-come, first-served basis,” the township website states.
