Jean E. “Ginger” Young, 93, of Whitehall, died Aug. 29, 2025.

She was the wife of Linford E. “Buddy” Young for 74 years.

Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Kremus.

She was a graduate of Northampton High School and attended Cedar Crest College. She worked many years at Mack Trucks in Allentown as a key punch operator.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Gail Bundra of Walnutport; a son, Glen of Northampton; a daughter-in-law, Janet (Mertz) of New Tripoli; four grandchildren, Brian (Jenny), Jared Bundra, Carrie Bundra and Jenna (Dave) Martin; and six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a sister, Joan Kremus; a son, Gary; and a daughter, Gwen.

A viewing will begin 9 a.m,, followed by a Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m., Sept. 4 at the church, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall. Entombment will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum, Allentown.
