Janet K. (Maurer) Beidler, 72, of Orefield, died peacefully Aug. 24, 2025 in her home surrounded by all that she loved. She was the wife of Joseph P. Beidler for 54 years.

Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late Oscar S. and Marie H. (Sams) Maurer Jr. A 1971 graduate of Louis E. Dieruff High School, she worked in production for Pet Foods and Pillsbury until retiring. Her greatest joy was the love she shared with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Jason and his wife, Tara (Walbert), of Alburtis; grandchildren, Kylie, Kaden and Emma; sister, Barbara D. Keagle.

She was predeceased by son Joseph; brother, Jeffrey W. Maurer.

Arrangements were made by Gilbert Funeral Home, 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall.
