Jacquelene A. (MacLachlan) Ziegler, 88, of Slatington, formerly of Plainfield, N.J., died Aug. 20, 2025, at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. She was the wife of the late Rev. Daniel G. Ziegler. Born in Boston, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Angus Hugh and Anne Eve (Losnik) MacLachlan. She was employed as a preschool teacher at The King’s Daughters Day School, Plainfield, N.J., for many years before retiring to Maine. She was a member of Northern Lehigh Bible Fellowship Church, Walnutport.

She is survived by children, Daniel A. (Wendy), of Paynesville, Minn., Sarah K. Weaber (Timothy), of Slatington, Rebekah C., of Plainfield, N.J., Stephen L. (Robin), of Somerset, N.J.; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a brother, Donald MacLachlan.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Sept. 13 at Whitehall Bible Fellowship Church, 3300 Seventh St., Whitehall. Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30-10:30 a.m. before the service.
