Gladys F. (Metzger) Kuhns, 102, of Walnutport, formerly of Schnecksville and Slatington, died Aug. 24, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospice (Inpatient), Allentown. She was the wife of the late Robert R. Kuhns. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Elizabeth (Oswald) Metzger. She was employed as a food service worker at Lehigh Career and Technical Institute in Schnecksville for 20 years before retiring. She was the oldest member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.

She is survived by daughters, Barbara J. Rechtor (Dennis), with whom she resided, Donna F. Shollenberger (Jack), of Palmerton; daughter-in-law, Lucille W. (Rothroth), of Slatington; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.

She was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey R.; siblings, Clair, Wilbur, Evelyn, Arlene, Mildred.
