Edward J. Tantsits, 89, of Allentown, died Aug. 25, 2025 at Luther Crest in Allentown. He was the husband of Priscilla V. (Hunsicker) Tantsits for 64 years this past April. Born in Coplay, he was the son of the late Alois and Elizabeth (Strasser) Tantsits.

He was a program analyst for the former Bethlehem Steel for 28 years until retiring in 1996 and was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Orefield. He honorably served in the United States Army.

He was in the Duffers Golf League for many years and was active in Boy Scout Troop 72.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Stanley (Susan), of Fogelsville; grandchildren, Linda Gery (Mitch), of Alburtis, Pete, of Berlin, Germany; great-grandchildren, Dr. Taden Gery and Karson Gery.

He was predeceased by a brother, Frank.
