District News: Borough Elementary, NAMS to hold meet the teacher nights
Meet the teacher nights are approaching. Come meet your child’s teacher and check out the classrooms. These events are very informative for parents/guardians to learn the expectations for the new school year.
• Northampton Borough Elementary School (grades 2-5): 6-8 p.m. Sept. 4
• Northampton Area Middle School: 6-8 p.m. Sept. 11

At 6:30 p.m. Sept. 8, there will be a Northampton Area School District Board of Education meeting in the auditorium at Northampton Area High School. The community is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Smile! Fall picture days are coming up. All students will have their pictures taken, but purchase is optional.

Northampton’s band competition will be performed 6-8 p.m. Sept. 13 at Al Erdosy Field. Come out to hear some great performances of area high school bands!

NASD’s facilities committee will meet in a public session 6-7 p.m. Sept. 15 in the library conference room at Northampton Area High School. Members of the community are welcome and encouraged to attend.

NAMS’ PTA will have its first meeting of the 2025-26 school year 5:30 p.m. Sept. 18. Please consider joining this group.

NASD will be offering optional Chromebook insurance for the 2025-26 school year.
The cost is $27.95 per student device and covers accidental damage, loss, theft and perils (such as fire or flood) and provides an extended warranty for one year. All claims and repairs are handled at the district level.

Reminder for NAHS students about parking: Those who are parking on the streets in Northampton, make sure not to park on streets where you need parking permits from the borough. It is possible your vehicle will be ticketed.

Reminder for NAHS students: You must carry your ID on you each day. It is needed to scan in and out of the building and to sign into the study hall.
