Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Fourth and Pine streets, reminds congregation members to save their Redner’s receipts. When you make a purchase, give your card to the cashier to scan. The total points will show at the bottom of your receipt. Place your receipts in the basket in the giving area in the back of the sanctuary, so the points can be submitted.

Holy Trinity receives 1% of the purchase; this can add up to a significant contribution toward Bear Creek camperships.

The Whitehall High School Class of 1978 is hosting a 65th birthday celebration noon-7 p.m. Sept. 27 at the pavilion at Egypt Memorial Park, Hillcrest Lane and Curt Simmons Drive. The cost is $10 per person, which includes hamburgers, hot dogs, snacks, water and music. You are asked to bring a covered dish or dessert to share.

The event is BYOB and wine only — no glass bottles.
