Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, will be holding a picnic 4-8 p.m. Sept. 6.

The band Midnight Special sponsored by Heintzelman Funeral Home will perform from 5-8 p.m.

There will be a cake walk, basket raffle, great food and fellowship.

Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting its Community Day noon to 5 p.m. Sept. 13 at the Weisenberg Field, 9504 Bachelor Road, Kutztown.

There will be music, activities, local artisans and more.

Food and treats will include Vince’s Famous Cheesesteak Food Truck, the Nesting Box ice cream and bake sale.

This event benefits the Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Department.

Christ’s Church at Lowhill, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, New Tripoli, will be hosting its Rally Day events on Sept. 7.

First day of coffee and conversation for adults and Sunday School for children will take place at 9 a.m.

Worship with special music and blessing of the backpacks at 10 a.m.

A luncheon for all will take place following the service.

The church will be holding an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner 5-7 p.m. Sept. 26.

The meal includes spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, drink and homemade dessert.

There is a cost for adults and children 5-10 years of age.

Children age 5 and under are free.

You can pay at the door or prepurchase tickets.

The Kids Harvest Festival will take place 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sept. 27.

There will be pumpkin and face painting, crafts, games, prizes, food and more.

Bring a nonperishable food item for the Christ’s Church at Lowhill Food Pantry to enter.
