BFAC to honor artists, supporters

Bethlehem’s Fine Arts Commission hosts this year’s Tribute to the Arts Awards winners for a festive reception honoring those who work tirelessly to advance arts opportunities in our community. Honoree are:

• Michael Freeman: Blind Abstract Artist & Advocate for Accessibility and Disability

• Steven Lichak: Media Specialist and Cultural Conservationist

• Elise Schaffer: Advocate for Accessibility in the Arts

• The Ice House PAC (Performing Arts Collective): Local Arts Programming Venue

This year’s ceremony and reception is scheduled for Sept. 9 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at 424 Center St., Bethlehem. The entrance to the venue is located on Center Street.

Area art supporters are invited to an inspiring evening honoring those who make Bethlehem a more beautiful, expressive and vibrant place through the arts.

Guests will enjoy great company, light fare and heartfelt tributes as the commission recognizes local artists and advocates who have made lasting contributions to our city’s creative legacy.
