Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville are investigating a crash involving a vehicle into a building Aug. 19, according to a news release dated the same day.

The crash was detailed by authorities as follows:

At approximately 8:07 a.m. Aug. 19, state troopers were called to 6900 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, for a vehicle into a building there.

Investigators determined a female motorist, 68, of Lower Macungie Township, driving a luxury crossover sport utility vehicle, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the tutoring business JEI Learning Center, Suite 230 and caused damage to Suite 230 and Suite 235.

“There were no occupants in the business at the time of the crash,” according to the news release.

Macungie Ambulance crews also responded to the crash site and evaluated the motorist.

Investigating agencies are PSP Fogelsville Patrol Unit with the help of the Lower Macungie Township Fire Department.
