LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Support fall sports at ACCHS

My name is Charlotte Patterson and I am a junior at Allentown Central Catholic High School. I am very excited for the opportunity to write for the Lehigh Valley Press and report on all the happenings at Central Catholic.

A little about myself: I am a club soccer player and a member of the girls varsity soccer team. I am a Viking Ambassador and also participate in the Central City Project and Bracelets for the Blind, which are both clubs at Central allowing students to gain service hours and help out the community.

In my spare time, I enjoy singing, scrapbooking, playing my guitar and biking.

This week has been filled with anticipation and excitement as school has started.

On Aug. 24, the freshman picnic was held in Central Catholic’s newly paved parking lot. Incoming students and their families were welcomed and the picnic allowed freshmen and transfer students to meet some of their classmates the day before school started.

Freshmen and new transfer students began their first day Aug. 25, while returning students began Aug. 26. Picture day will be held Aug. 29.

On Aug. 30, our volleyball team will host a car wash at Applebees, Cedar Crest Boulevard, 9 a.m. to noon. Come and show your Viking pride!

Allentown Central Catholic offers many different clubs and meetings start next week. The Ethics Bowl Team has its first meeting 3-3:20 p.m. Aug. 28 in Room 205. The Booster Club also has its first meeting 7 p.m. Sept. 9 in Masson Hall. More information can be found @acchs.info.

Come out and support our fall sports: football, golf, soccer, tennis, cheerleading, cross-country, field hockey and volleyball. To find schedules visit @acchs.info.
