Salisbury Knee-Hi wins CWL title

The Salisbury Knee-Hi baseball team won this year’s Central Whitehall League championship.

It came down to the wire as Salisbury grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 7-6, over Northern Lehigh Blue-Slatedale.

The game was tied at six in the bottom of the seventh when James Ebert singled to score the winning run.

The Falcons headed into the bottom of the seventh inning trailing by two runs and started the inning with three straight singles.

Tallon Liggit singled to drive in the tying run with two outs before Ebert’s game-winning hit.

Collin Moll pitched four and one-third innings in relief for Salisbury He surrendered three hits and one run while striking out eight and walking one. Josh Knecht started the game for Salisbury and gave up three hits and three runs over two-thirds of an inning, striking out one and walking three.

Salisbury had 11 hits in the game. Gavin Kotarski, Moll and Fenway Bellew each collected two hits. Liam Chrisman and Liggit each drove in two runs for Salisbury, which played error-free defense in the win.

Salisbury went 13-2-2 in 2025 en route to winning the league title.
