Gladys F. Kuhns, 102, of Walnutport and formerly of Schnecksville and Slatington, died Aug. 24, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Robert R. Kuhns.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Elizabeth (Oswald) Metzger.

She was employed as a food service worker at Lehigh Career and Technical Institute, Schnecksville, for 20 years before retiring.

She was the oldest member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara J. Rechtor with Dennis with whom she resided and Donna F. Shollenberger with Jack of Palmerton; a daughter-in-law, Lucille W. of Slatington; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

She was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey R.; and five siblings, Clair, Wilbur, Evelyn, Arlene and Mildred.

There will be a calling time 9:30-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., Aug. 28 at the funeral home, 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville.
