The last summer concert of the season will be held Aug. 29 with Out Past Curfew Band performing 7-10 p.m. at the Catasauqua Park and Playground amphitheater, 501 American St. Bring your lawn chair and blanket, and settle in for a fun, musical night in the park.

Build a colorful glass bead garden stake at the next Catasauqua Garden Club meeting, to be held 1 p.m. Sept. 3 at Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua. There is a small materials charge for visitors who wish to participate.

Members will present artistic and horticultural entries for judging, and interesting garden discussions are always a part of every meeting. The answer to your garden question may be found at this meeting!

East Allen Township Recreation Committee is offering the following Christmas bus trips if anyone is interested.

The first will be held Dec. 6 to see “Deck the Halls” at American Music Theatre, with lunch at Hershey Farms.

The other trip is to the Hallmark Christmas Convention Dec. 13 at New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison, N.J. Meet your favorite movie stars from the Hallmark network.
