The Bloomsburg field hockey team has been ranked fifth in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) as voted on by the league’s head coaches in the annual preseason poll on Monday.
The Huskies enter the 2025 season fresh off the program’s first trip to the NCAA Tournament since 2011. Bloomsburg spent the entirety of the 2024 season nationally-ranked by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) while being ranked fourth for most of the season.
Sat atop the poll is the Kutztown, who received seven first-place votes after making a trip to the NCAA Championship game. East Stroudsburg placed second with a pair of first-place votes while the reigning PSAC Champions, Shippensburg, claimed third with one first-place vote. West Chester claimed fourth while the Huskies are tabbed fifth. Mansfield, IUP and Millersville earned sixth through eighth while Frostburg State (No. 9) and Slippery Rock (No. 10) round out the preseason poll.
Members of the team include former Konkrete Kid twin sisters Kendall Iasiello and Raegan Iasiello. Kendall is a sophomore forward and Raegan is a sophomore midfielder.
