Walk fundraiser scheduled Sept. 13

The Northeast Region of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America will host the 2025 HDSA Team Hope Walk, Lehigh Valley, at Hopewell Park Pavilion, 4695 West Hopewell Road, Center Valley, Sept. 13.

Registration starts 9 a.m. and the event begins 10 a.m.

Huntington’s disease is a fatal genetic disorder causing progressive breakdown of nerve cells in the brain.

The disease deteriorates a person’s physical and mental abilities and has no cure, according to a recent press release.

All proceeds will benefit HDSA’s mission to improve the lives of people affected by Huntington’s and their families.
