James “Jim” William Hartzell, 93, of Bethlehem, died Aug. 12, 2025, at Holy Family Manor. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late George and Goldie Hartzell. He was the husband of the late Lorraine (Wildermuth) Hartzell.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He was a self-employed clothing manufacturer and was the owner and operator of Panzell Inc. and 502 Corporation.
He was a member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church.
He is survived by a son, Archie Hartzell and wife Judy of Allentown; grandchildren, Archie and Michele Hartzell of Center Valley, Stacy and Mike Cook of Hellertown and Simon Hartzell of Irving, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Emmett Cook, Sam Cook and Francisco Hartzell; and a sister, Georgine Banko of Bethlehem.
