Paul Daniel “Ace” Frehley, born April 27, 1951, and raised in The Bronx, New York City, is an American musician who was the original lead guitarist, occasional lead vocalist and founding member of the rock band Kiss from its inception in 1973 until his departure in 1982. He released the album, “Frehley’s Comet,” in 1987. Frehley rejoined Kiss in 1996 for a reunion tour and stayed until 2002. His most recent solo album, “10,000 Volts,” released in February 2024, topped the Billboard Hard Music and Rock Album Charts.
Great White is an American hard rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1977. The band peaked with the platinum-selling records “Once Bitten” (1987) and “...Twice Shy” (1989). The group charted two Top 40 hit singles on the Billboard Hot 100, with “Once Bitten, Twice Shy” and “The Angel Song.” They continued to release new material into the 1990s.
Quiet Riot is an American heavy metal band founded in Los Angeles in 1973 by guitarist Randy Rhoads, bassist Kelly Garni and vocalist Kevin DuBrow. The group’s 1983 album, “Metal Health,” was the first heavy metal album to top the Billboard album chart. The band had several hit singles which charted on the Billboard Hot 100, including “Cum On Feel the Noize” (a cover of a Slade song) and “Metal Health (Bang Your Head).” DuBrow died in 2007 of a cocaine overdose In August 2021, Quiet Riot released a statement saying that bassist Rudy Sarzo would be rejoining the band.
