Firearm surrendered
to police
State Police Troop M, Bethlehem, are investigating an incident whereas during the course of an incident 6:09 p.m. Aug. 12, a complainant reportedly was evicted and forgot he left a firearm inside a residence in the 4300 Block of Parkland Court, North Whitehall Township.
Police said a cleaning crew contracted out to clean the residence discovered the firearm, a Roger LCP Ruger .380 LCP, valued at $300.
They took possession of it for safe keeping and subsequently turned it over to State Police Bethlehem Station, police said.
Credit card used without authorization
State Police Troop M, Bethlehem, said a 60-year-old woman from Oakcrest Lane, North Whitehall Township, reported the theft of $7.41.
According to police, on Aug. 4, Troopers were dispatched to the North Whitehall Township residence for a report of the theft.
Police said upon investigation, it was determined a fraudulent purchase was made using a Santander credit card without authorization.
Police investigate
assault
State Police Troop M, Bethlehem, are investigating an assault which occurred between a 25-year-old Bethlehem man and a 27-year-old Orefield man 5:02 a.m. July 27 on Fox Court, North Whitehall Township.
Police said the Orefield man was eventually taken into custody without incident for alleged terroristic threats.
Charges were filed before Magisterial District Judge Jacob Hammond, South Whitehall, police said.
Funds stolen in North Whitehall Twp.
State Police Troop M, Bethlehem, said a 43-year-old woman from Clearview Road, North Whitehall Township, reported the theft of funds in the amount of $4,960.55
According to police, between July 9 and 5:16 p.m. Aug. 6 a Peoples First Credit Union Check was intercepted, changed and cashed to an unidentified individual.
