Salaries set for administration employees in Parkland School District

The Parkland Board of School Directors approved salaries for central office personnel and 70 individuals holding administrative positions throughout the district for the 2025-2026 school term at a recent meeting.

Superintendent Dr. Mark Madson will receive $218,400.

Assistant Superintendent Dr. Michelle Minotti will be paid $173,556 and Assistant Superintendent Timothy Chorones will be paid $156,358.

Director of Business Administration Leslie Frisbie will receive $187,206.

Positions including director of facilities and operations, director of teaching and learning, high school principal and director of online learning will all be paid an annual salary over $150,000.

Other positions range from $74,263 for network administrator up through higher amounts for principals, psychologists and directors of various district-wide titles such as $144,368 for the director of safety and security.

In another matter, the board approved a proposal from Johnson Controls for a comprehensive security upgrade at all district buildings at a cost of $415,625. The project will be funded by a grant from the PA Commission on Crime and Delinquency.

The work will include purchase of door access controls and control panels, video intercoms, software upgrades and installation.

Dr. Anthony Naradko, director of safety and security, noted the improvements will set up a visitor management system and establish a more secure staff identification system. He said the equipment should be received by the end of the summer.
