Northampton: Pink Pumpkins to hold summer farm fest Aug. 23

Pink Pumpkins Coins 4 Chemo will be holding a summer farm fest 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Aug. 23, rain or shine, at Tri-Boro Sportsmen Club, 2110 Canal St. The event features a cow plop, activities for the children, local vendors, crafters, a basket raffle, food, music, door prizes and more to benefit cancer warriors in the community.

Cow plop tickets can be purchased at Tri-Boro or by calling 610-440-2119. Only 300 will be sold.

The deadline for Northampton Area Historical Society’s annual mum fundraiser will be Aug. 28.

Pickup is 8-11 a.m. Sept. 13 at the Siegfried Railroad Station on West 21st Street.

Uptown Northampton Street Fair is set for 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 13 on Main Street. It will feature local merchants, craft vendors, live music, family-friendly fun and demonstrations, food trucks and vendors, beer and adult beverages, rock climbing and more.

The borough has launched its first movies in the park series. From now until Oct. 31, enjoy movies every Friday night under the stars. There will also be concessions available, featuring a unique themed food item each week.

The event includes pre-movie activities, which start 7:30 p.m. and continue until it is dark enough to see the movie.
