Edward J. Bodisch, 88, formerly of Whitehall, died Aug. 1, 2025, at his residence at Rittenhouse Village in Allentown. He was the husband of Marlene (Rosenberger) Bodisch for more than 53 years.

Born in Whitehall, he was a son of the late Edward J. and Helan A. (Pors) Bodisch.

He graduated from Whitehall High School.

He served his country in the U.S. Army.

He worked as an insurance salesman for American General Life Insurance for many years before retiring.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two stepsons; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one nephew.

He was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Karner; and a nephew.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
