Darlene M. Dimmick, 83, of Northampton, died Aug. 11, 2025, at Liza’s House, Danielsville. She was the wife of the late Maurice S. Dimmick.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Truman G. and Sadie B. (Roth) Ritter.

She worked as a librarian at Northampton Area Public Library and Northampton County Community College.

She was a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Whitehall.

She enjoyed volunteering at the church and with Whitehall Food Pantry.

She is survived by three children, Mark M., Anita L. Hozza and husband Martin and Matthew H. and wife Shelly; six grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Grace Ritter; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers, William Krumanocker and Gary Ritter.

Contributions may be presented to the church, 3900 Mechanicsville Road, Whitehall.
