Catherine Krchnavi, 61, of Northampton, died Aug. 10, 2025, after a courageous battle with illness.

Born in Ocean Grove, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Emma Elizabeth Erie (Williams) and her stepfather, Carl Erie.

She worked at Wegmans, Allentown, for 26 years and the YMCA for three years.

She is survived by a sister, Natelee Kiefer; a brother-in-law, Daryl Kiefer; and a nephew, Mason Kiefer.

Contributions of school supplies are requested for the YMCA.
