Allentown Fair

Deadline for 12 culinary contests extended

The deadline for entering the Allentown Fair’s 12 Culinary Contests has been extended to Aug. 15.

These contests offer cooks and bakers extra incentives for entering their favorite recipes or challenge them to create new dishes.

All contest applications and registration forms are available in the fair office and online on the Fair’s website at Culinary Contests — Allentown Fair.

The fair office is located behind Ritz Barbecue on the Allentown Fairgrounds at 17th and Chew streets, Allentown. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
