Moore Township Community Days is scheduled for 5-10 p.m. Aug. 15 and 16 at the recreation center, 635 English Road. The event features live bands, beer, slushies, clams, food trucks, fellowship, fun, fireworks and more.

The township recreation committee next meets 7 p.m. Aug. 21 at the township recreation center pavilion.

Moore Township Board of Supervisors will next meet 6 p.m. Sept. 2 at the municipal building, 2491 Community Drive. A meeting agenda is available on the township website.

Moore Township Land and Environmental Protection Board will next meet 7 p.m. Sept. 8 at the recreation center pavilion, 635 English Road.

The board has successfully preserved countless acres of farmland and open space within Moore Township.

The township seeks to fill vacancies on the township’s Americans with Disabilities Act Committee. The committee needs three people, with a one-year term. The committee is charged to help ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
