Marlene E. (Eberhart) Polgar, 87, formerly of Catasauqua and West Catasauqua, died peacefully Aug. 10, 2025, at Bethlehem South Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where she was a guest for the past three years.
Born in West Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Owen W. and Pauline E. (Willits Balliet) Eberhart Sr.
A 1956 graduate of Whitehall High School, she was a florist for Sandy’s Flower Shop in Salisbury Township and The Flower Potters in Bethlehem for more than 50 years until retiring in 2008.
Earlier in life she worked at Freihofer’s Bakery.
She is survived by daughter, Dawn A. Best and her husband, Jeffrey, of Lehigh Township; grandsons, Brandon, Austin and Jayden; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Mason, Emma, Hazel and George; nephews, Scott and Chad Eberhart; extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by a brother, Owen W. Eberhart Jr.
Services will be private.
