Joseph J. Fernandes Jr., 63, of Allentown, died Aug. 4, 2025, at his residence. He was the husband of Debra L. (Rehrig) Fernandes for 39 years.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Joseph J. Sr. and Barbara (Hessinger) Fernandes.

Along with his family members, he was the former co-owner and vice president of EAMCO Corporation in Coplay before retiring from the family business.

He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Allentown.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Joseph J. III; two siblings, Christian with Stephanie of Allentown and Maria Myers with John of Whitehall; a cousin, Lisa Jon Lepeta of Allentown; and a grandson, Jameson Hubich of Ohio.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Jaimie Joe.
