Jacob “Derm” Daniel Dermott, 20, of East Allen Township, died July 28, 2025, at his home.

Born in Spring Hill, Fla., he was the son of Michael P. and Fawn A. (Gevaudan) Mollenkof.

He was a Class of 2024 graduate of Northampton Area High School. He continued his education at Lincoln Technical School, Allentown, earning his electrical certification.

He was last employed as a delivery driver for Door Dash. Earlier, he was a loader/unloader for FedEX and worked for Weis Markets for three years.

He played football with Northampton Athletic Association and he continued playing all the way through his high school years.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Gaven Mollenkof of Bethlehem; a sister, Kailyn Mollenkof of Bethlehem; paternal grandfather, Robert Mollenkof of Villas, N.J.; and birth sisters, Taylor Dermott and A. Grace Dermott.

He was predeceased by his birth mother, Tammy Dermott.

Contributions may be made to the funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, 18067, which will be directed toward medical research once his ailment is confirmed.
