The deadline for entering the Great Allentown Fair’s 12 Culinary Contests has been extended to Aug. 15.

The contests offer cooks and bakers incentives for entering their favorite recipes or challenge them to create new dishes.

Contest applications and registration forms are available 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. in the Fair office, behind the Ritz Barbecue on the Allentown Fairgrounds, 17th & Chew streets, Allentown, and on the Fair’s website: https://www.allentownfair.com/
