Northwestern Elementary Celebrating last day with ice cream, fun activities

The last day of school is always a fun one at Northwestern Elementary.

As students arrived, they were greeted by staff wearing outrageous summer outfits showing everyone was ready for the start of summer break.

Throughout the morning students participated in a variety of fun activities and excitement levels were high while they enjoyed time with their friends and teachers.

Fifth graders were treated to a special send-off as they walked out of the building for the last time.

They were cheered and high-fived by the staff and younger students, happy to celebrate this amazing milestone with them.

They beamed with Tiger Pride as they received countless smiles and congratulations on completing their elementary journey.

Once dismissed, the staff lined the sidewalks and waved goodbye one last time as the buses and vans drove away.

In the evening all Northwestern Elementary students, staff, and their families were invited to Ontelaunee Park for ice cream at NWE PIE’s annual Last Day Party.

It was a fitting conclusion to a great year filled with joy, friendship, and memories.
