Covenant Church, 2715 Mountain View Drive, will be having a back-to-school carnival and backpack giveaway Aug. 9, starting 11 a.m.

The giveaway includes backpacks, school supplies, underwear and socks. There will also be games, prizes, food and fun.

Salem United Church of Christ, 2218 Community Drive, will hold its peach festival 3-8 p.m. Aug. 9. There will be food, games, bingo and a raffle. Music will be provided by Main Street Cruisers.

The last 2025 summer splash night will be held 6-7:30 p.m. Aug. 10 at Firefighters Field, 300 N. Chestnut St. All are welcome!

The Bath Area Food Bank will be distributing food Aug. 12, starting around 9:30 a.m., on the lower level of St. John’s Lutheran Church, 206 E. Main St. Do not arrive before 9:30 a.m. due to safety reasons.

The Bath Museum, 121 S. Walnut St., will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 16.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, will be having its last outdoor worship service Aug. 17. The service begins 9:30 a.m. at the pavilion, weather permitting.

Grab your lawn chairs or a blanket and come join us. A blessing of the backpacks will take place at the service.
