St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church hosts Vacation Bible School

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1028 Church St., Fogelsville, held its Vacation Bible School 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 26.

The one-day program themed “Rocky Railway: Jesus’ Power Pulls Us Through,” was packed with stories, games, music, crafts, lunch and more.

Children ages 5 to 12 were invited to participate, while teens had the opportunity to volunteer as helpers.

“Vacation Bible School used to be a full week before the pandemic,” Cindy Graf, co-coordinator, said. “But even in one day, we’re able to share so much joy and faith with the kids.”
