Stolen vehicle
A 2023 Cadillac Escalade luxury SUV was removed from a parking lot at Scott Mazda, 3301 Lehigh St., according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported July 19.
Officers were called to Sheffield Square Apartments, 1701 and 1711 S. Albert St., July 11 for a stolen Hyundai Tucson SUV, according to Salisbury police.
Theft from vehicle
A catalytic converter was removed from a vehicle in the 400 block of East Paoli Street, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported July 15.
Officers were called to Sheffield Square Apartments, 1701 and 1711 S. Albert St., July 11 on reports of three people allegedly breaking into vehicles, according to Salisbury police. Officers checked the area. No one was found.
Scam
A township resident, of Fox Run Drive, was swindled out of money by a person impersonating a police officer, according to Salisbury police. The impersonator allegedly contacted the woman by phone and threatened to arrest her for missing jury duty, according to authorities. The incident was reported July 14.
A township resident, of Lehigh Parkway North, was swindled out of money by phone and online, according to Salisbury police. The scam was detected and stopped before a large sum of money was transferred, according to authorities. The incident was reported July 14.
Disturbance
Officers were called to Commix Hotel, 3245 W. Emmaus Ave., for a disturbance July 19, according to Salisbury police. When officers arrived, those involved in the disturbance had left, according to authorities. No arrests were made,
Warrant arrest
A female motorist, 20, of Mount Carmel, was taken into custody July 16 for an outstanding DUI warrant after officers noticed a vehicle traveling on West Rock Road displaying what appeared to be a fake state inspection sticker, according to Salisbury police. Officers determined the motorist did not have a valid driver’s license, according to authorities.
Lost wallet
An Allentown woman was shopping in retailer Ross Dress for Less, 3300 Lehigh St., July 17, when she misplaced her wallet. Security footage showed an unknown male and female finding and looking through the wallet, according to Salisbury police. The female allegedly kept the wallet and then handed it to a second female. The wallet was not turned in, according to authorities. The wallet contained cash, credit/debit cards and other personal property, according to authorities.
