The Upper Macungie Township Police Department will once again celebrate National Night Out with the community from 5-8 p.m. at Grange Park, 360 Grange Road. Activities will include: rides and amusements, live music, car show by Rockguard Film, food trucks galore, petting zoo, face painting, balloon animals and a photo booth. There will also be police, fire and emergency management services displays, K9 demonstrations and giveaways. Admission, parking and rides are all free. South Whitehall Township Police Department will be its annual National Night Out celebration with the community from 5-8 p.m. at Covered Bridge Park, 2465 Wehr Mill Road. Thee will be tasty food trucks, groovy live music, plenty of kid activities, an exciting helicopter landing, local business information booths and a Target bicycle giveaway. The Trojan Alumni Varsity Clubs August membership meeting will be held at 6 p.m, at the HOPS-Fogelsville Hotel, 7921 Main St., Fogelsville. Jay Sherr, former simmer for the United States Coast Guard, will be the main speaker. Price of the meal will be $15.
