Larry Lee Hilbert, 73, of Emmaus and formerly of Whitehall, died July 23, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown. He was the husband of Patricia (Nush) Hilbert for 46 years.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Robert P. and Erma E. (Oplinger) Hilbert.

He was a 1972 graduate of Whitehall High School.

He served his country in the U.S. Army as a SP/4 during the Vietnam War.

He pursued a career as an auto mechanic for various stations throughout the greater Lehigh Valley for more than 20 years, last at A&E Auto Service Center, Allentown, until retiring in 2018. After retiring, he worked part time for Weis Markets, Schnecksville, as a stock associate.

He was an antique car enthusiast.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Donna M. Kogler and husband James of Spring Hill, Fla.

Services will be held privately.
