Emerson College

Blose earns dean’s list

Taylor Blose, of Catasauqua, earned dean’s list honors for the spring 2025 semester at Emerson College. The requirement to make this honor is a grade-point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester. Blose is majoring in writing, literature and publishing and is a member of the Class of 2027.

University of Scranton

Dean’s list is announced

More than 1,725 students were named to University of Scranton’s dean’s list for the spring 2025 semester. This honor recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a GPA of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the semester to make the dean’s list. The list includes students from the Jesuit university’s college of arts an sciences, Kania School of Management and the Leahy College of Health Sciences.

Bath: Kassidy B. Means, freshman business administration major in the Kania School of Management

Catasauqua: Kayla M. Cunningham, sophomore secondary education-citizenship and history major in the college of arts and sciences

Northampton: Seth A. Janders, junior finance major in the Kania School of Management

Whitehall: Michael J. Gallo, a junior political science major in the college of arts and sciences

La Salle University

Komperda named to dean’s list

La Salle University congratulates Zoria Komperda, of Whitehall, as one of the more than 500 traditional undergraduate students named to the spring 2025 dean’s list in recognition of academic excellence. Komperda is majoring in nutrition, in a five-year Bachelor of Science/Master of Science program. Students who complete at least 12 credits and earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher are placed on this list.

Shenandoah University

Hoover graduates

Katya Hoover, of Walnutport, was among the 1,369 graduates who received their degrees and/or certificates from Shenandoah University during the 2024-25 academic year. Hoover earned a Bachelor of Science in biology.

Shenandoah had 239 August 2024 graduates, 366 December 2024 graduates and 764 May graduates. Shenandoah’s 2025 commencement took place May 24 in the James R. Wilkins Jr. Athletics and Events Center.

Shenandoah University was established in 1875 and is headquartered at the top of Virginia, in Winchester, with additional educational sites in Clarke and Loudoun counties, and online offerings. Shenandoah is a private, nationally recognized university that blends professional career experiences with wide-ranging education.

Students earn dean’s list

Muhlenberg College congratulates the students named to the dean’s list for the 2025 spring semester. To be eligible for this honor, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or better while taking three or more course units during a semester.

Roger Williams University

Dorsey earns dean’s list

Courtney Dorsey, of Bath, has been named to the spring 2025 dean’s list at Roger Williams University, in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the honor that semester.
