SoberPlatz
SoberPlatz, on SteelStacks Campus adjacent to Air Products Americaplatz, is open daily during Musikfest.
SoberPlatz, a new addition, is hosted by Sync Recovery. Northampton County Council President Lori Vargo Heffner proposed a resolution, approved by Northampton County Council, to help defray costs of set up and staffing.
“SoberPlatz adds an important dimension to the festival experience, creating a safe, inclusive space that supports connection, well-being and the joy of music in an alcohol-free environment,” said Curt Mosel, Chief Operating Officer at ArtsQuest.
SoberPlatz, on SteelStacks Campus adjacent to Air Products Americaplatz, is open daily during Musikfest. The alcohol-free zone will feature meetups, wellness activities and opportunities to learn more about recovery resources and community support.
“Recovery isn’t about missing out. It’s about showing up fully, and having a great time while you do it,” said Laura Waits, Executive Director of Sync Recovery Community.
Park and ride
ArtsQuest, in partnership with LANTA, Bethlehem Parking Authority, City of Bethlehem and the SouthSide Arts District, is returning LANTA’s Gold Line and Free Fares on Enhanced Bus Service Blue and Green Lines for Musikfest 2025, providing frequent, accessible and air-conditioned transit throughout the festival grounds.
From points west in Trexlertown to points east in Easton, festivalgoers are encouraged to park and ride, with stops throughout both the North Side and South Side of Bethlehem.
“The return of the Gold Line and free EBS service makes it easier than ever to explore every part of Musikfest, without the stress of driving or parking,” said Kassie Hilgert, President and CEO of ArtsQuest.
Service features include ADA-compliant and air-conditioned buses. Free rides are within the Musikfest festival footprint. Fares apply outside of Musikfest.
