Upper Macungie Township will show the movie “Zootopia” (PG) Aug. 8 at Breinigsville Park, 8935 Breinigsville Road.
Activities start around 5:30 p.m. and the movie will start as soon as the sun goes down.
Before the movie begins, explore the township’s petting zoo full of adorable animals, get in line for your own safari-inspired balloon animal and snag some amazing, themed giveaways to remember the night.
The township’s free Concert in the Park series will feature a heartwarming concert in the park honoring local heroes in uniform with incredible music, fun yard games and a whole lot of appreciation 7:30 p.m. July 26 at Grange Park, 360 Grange Road.
Talented artists will take the stage with powerful performances that celebrate the bravery, dedication and sacrifice of all those who serve.
Food and beverage vendors will include The Udder Bar, GrubNight, Big Poppa’s Backyard Barbecue, Lemon Splash LV, McCall Collective Brewing, Clover Hill Winery, Pop Truck and HiJynx Brewing.
The township will hold its Grub and Groove at Grange series 5-8 p.m. Thursdays until Sept. 25 in the parking lot Pavilion No. 1 at Grange Park, 360 Grange Road.
Come out and enjoy various food trucks and music.
Upper Macungie Township’s “Claws, Codes and Constellations” Mad Science Summer Camp five-day camp for kids age 6-12 will take place 9 a.m. to noon July 28-Aug. 1 at Lone Lane Park, 30 Lone Lane.
Campers will discover how to send secret messages to their friends. They’ll follow a scent trail and become young astronauts as they learn about the mysteries of the solar system.
