Salisbury Township male found dead along Gaskill Avenue

A Salisbury Township man was found dead along Gaskill Avenue July 18, according to press releases from the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office and Forensics Center and Salisbury Township Police.

David G. Ketteridge, 37, was pronounced dead 7:24 a.m. in the 1400 block of Gaskill Avenue, according to authorities.

The location where he found was described as a “fielded area” by the coroner’s office.

According to the Salisbury Township Police Department, officers responded to Gaskill Avenue around 6:40 a.m. for “what was initially reported to be a medical emergency.

“Shortly after officers arrived on the scene, it was determined that this male was already deceased,” according to the press release

Results of an autopsy July 18 to determine cause and manner of death are pending, according to the coroner’s office.

“The cause and manner of death are pending further investigation and the results of toxicology studies,” according to a press release from the coroner’s office dated July 19.

Investigating agencies also include the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office, Lehigh County Homicide Task Force and Pennsylvania State Police Forensics Services Unit.
