Burglary

A resident of Gilly Avenue discovered items were removed from his residence, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported July 9, according to authorities.

Disturbance

Officers were called to police headquarters, 3000 S. Pike Ave., for a disturbance inside a vehicle in a parking lot at the station July 9, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made, according to authorities.

Township officers were called to provide mutual aid assistance at a location in the 1200 block of Broadway in Fountain Hill Borough during a disturbance at the location July 9, according to authorities.

Warrant arrests

A 49-year-old female, no address provided, was taken into custody July 6 after police determined she had an open arrest warrant from Northampton County during a traffic stop, according to Salisbury police.

A 34-year-old male, of Emmaus, was taken into custody after a traffic stop for operating a vehicle without a registration plate July 6, according to authorities, Police also determined the motor vehicle was not registered nor insured and the operator’s driver’s license was under suspension for allegedly driving under the influence, according to authorities.

A 38-year-old male, of no known address, was taken into custody on an open arrest warrant for forgery after police responded to the 1700 block of East Susquehanna Street to check on the welfare of two people sleeping in a vehicle July 11, according to authorities.

Officers called

Township police officers responded to Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., after a patient allegedly acted out toward hospital security personnel July 9. No arrests were made, according to Salisbury police.

Attempted fraud

A resident of Flexer Avenue learned of attempted fraud to her bank account, according to Salisbury police. The fraud attempt was reported July 10.

Vehicle fires

Salisbury officers assisted the Pennsylvania State Police with a vehicle fire on Interstate 78 near West Rock Road July 10, according to Salisbury police.

Salisbury officers responded to the 1700 block of Seidersville Road for a motor vehicle on fire about 10 feet from a building July 12, according to Salisbury police. Officers contained the fire with fire extinguishers until Eastern Salisbury Fire Department arrived on scene to fully extinguish it.

Hit and run

A 57-year-old bicyclist, of Allentown, was hurt in a hit-and-run accident along South Cedar Crest Boulevard at the off-ramp for Interstate 78 westbound July 12, according to Salisbury police. The cyclist sustained an arm injury when they were struck by a vehicle, according to authorities. Officers determined the vehicle was driven by a 25-year-old male resident of Salisbury Township.
