Gloria A. Sagula

of Allentown

Gloria A. Sagula, 92, of Allentown, formerly of Northbrook, Ill., died peacefully at home July 15, 2025. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Sagula, with whom she shared 69 years of marriage.

As the youngest of three sisters, she inherited a respect for others, as well as a great sense of humor, and an infectious laugh that always brought smiles to those around her. Family dinners around the dinner table throughout her life were always special with every generation.

The arts were an important part of her life: music, live theater, art museum, and cinema. Her children inherited her athleticism, notably ice skating, golf, tennis, swimming and dancing.

She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church, where she sang with the funeral mass choir. She was a devout Roman Catholic who shared this gift with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by daughters, Karen Miller and her husband, David, of St. Charles, Ill., Diane, of Wayne; sons, Brian and his wife, Lee, of Coatsville, Dr. David and his wife, Lita, of Des Moines, Iowa.; grandsons, Steven David Miller and his wife, Kirsten, Erik Frank Miller, Jack Edwin, Evelyn Grace; great-granddaughters, Clare Leah Miller, Abigail Gloria Miller, as well as one on the way.

Arrangements were made by Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 W. Highland St., Allentown.
