The “95.1 WZZO First Annual Mullet Contest” is making its glorious debut at the 2025 Great Allentown Fair and it’s time to celebrate the most iconic hairstyle in history: business in the front, party in the back.

Taking place at 7 p.m. Aug. 30 at the Astound Broadband Farmerama Theater and hosted by Joel and Keith of 95.1 WZZO, the hair-raising competition invites mullet enthusiasts of all ages to flaunt their fabulous follicles in a head-turning showdown of style, swagger and supreme strands and see who wins the coveted “Best In Grow” award.

Categories include:

• Kid’s Cut (ages 9 and under)

• Teen Tails (ages 10 -17)

• Adult Mullets (18-plus)

Contestants will be judged on mullet quality, creativity and swagger. Winners in each category will take home bragging rights, some fun prizes and maybe even a little local fame.

The hair-raising competition wouldn’t happen without the Fair’s mullet-loving sponsors, 95.1 WZZO, Banko Beverage Company, Joe Tea, Pabst Blue Ribbon and Amey’s Garage.
