Valley Youth House needs adult mentors

Valley Youth House

Adult mentors are needed

Valley Youth House is seeking adult mentors in the Lehigh Valley and Montgomery County who are ready to make a direct and lasting difference in the lives of young people.

Youth who have spent time in the foster care system often face an uphill battle as they transition into adulthood, according to a recent media release. Many youth navigate this time without consistent support, stable relationships or access to guidance many take for granted.

Valley Youth House’s mentoring program provides a pathway for caring adults to step in and offer a steady presence.

The program connects youth ages 14 to 21 with adult mentors who commit to building a meaningful, consistent relationship.

Mentors aren’t expected to have all the answers. Mentors help their mentees explore goals, build confidence and make informed choices about their future.

Valley Youth House invites adults 21 years and older to consider becoming mentors.

In the Lehigh Valley, contact Arianna Stoudt at 484-655-4557 or astoudt@valleyyouthhouse.org.

In Montgomery County, call 610-272-2946.
