Robert Zuercher
Robert “Bob” F. Zuercher, 68, of Slatington, died peacefully July 11, 2025, with his loving wife by his side. He was a devoted husband of 47 years to Helen (nee Muschko) Zuercher and an adoring father to his daughter Brooke Coleman. A graduate of William Allen High School in Allentown, and a student at Williamson College of the Trades in Media, he was a carpenter and master craftsman.
Gifted in all types of woodworking, he loved installing decorative molding and millwork, but found his true calling in building custom staircases. Specializing in the complex art of curved railing and stair systems, he particularly loved projects that were intricate and challenging. His work can be found all over the tri-state area, in all types of homes and businesses.
In addition to his wife and daughter, he is survived by his son-in-law Bill; grandson, Carter; sister-in-law, Alice (nee Fisher); siblings, Michael and his wife, Lynda, Cheryl Adams and her husband, Robert, Kevin and his wife, Deanna; nieces; nephews; great-nephews; great-niece; great-great-nephew; aunts; uncles; cousins.
He was predeceased by his brother, Richard; parents, Francis R. and Margaret J. (nee Schulter) Zuercher.
A calling hour will be held 9-11 a.m. July 19 at Stephens Funeral Home, 274 N. Krocks Road, Allentown. A procession will immediately follow where a Christian service will take place noon at the Church of the Mediator, 1620 W. Turner St., Allentown, 18102.
