Lorraine M. (Ouellette) Durrell, 90, formerly of Melbourne, Fla. and Harrisburg area, died July 10, 2025, at Country Meadows, Allentown, where she had been residing. She was the wife of James L. Durrell, to whom she was married 67 years this past May. Born in Richmond, Vt., she was the daughter of the late Alfred Joseph and Helen Marion (Woodworth) Ouellette.

For several years, she was a secretary at Fulton Bank before retiring. As an active volunteer, she loved helping others, specifically with her husband, Jim, hosting marriage preparation counseling across the country. In addition, she loved sewing, quilting and was an avid reader.

She was a former active member and Eucharistic Minister at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Harrisburg.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Judith M., of Harrisburg, Linda J. Klostermann and her husband, Larry, of Springfield, Ky., Mary P. Syslo and her husband, Mark, of Coplay; son, James L. and his wife, Cindy, of Pittsburgh; sister, Sr. Jean Lasalette, of Philadelphia; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by four brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m., July 22, at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 4456 Main St., (Egypt) Whitehall, with the Rev. Msgr. Daniel J. Yenushosky as Celebrant. Family and friends may pay their respects 10:30-11 a.m. in the church before the Mass.
