Jeffrey A. Kratzer

PHS Class of 1970 graduate

Jeffrey A. Kratzer, 72, a resident of LifePath, Northampton died July 11, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. Born in Camp Lejeune, N.C., he was the son of the late Robert W. and Nancy L. (Balliet) Kratzer. He was a graduate of Parkland High School, Class of 1970.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force during a peacetime era. He was employed as an assembler at APS in Bethlehem before retiring. Before that, he worked in the same capacity at Good Shepherd Vocational Services, Allentown and as a painter for the former William H. Kehm Painting Company in Orefield. He was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ, Allentown.

He is survived by a sister, Cheryl A. Schantz and her husband, Robert, of Macungie.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. July 18 at Jordan U.C.C., 1837 Church Road, Allentown with the Rev. Dr. David Charles Smith officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects 10-11 a.m. before the service.
